“A very big thank you for helping me with this fund. I have a lot of winter experience but never had the confidence or money available to go for the assessment. Going for a refresher first will boost my confidence for the assessment.

“Being awarded this prize is a true honour. When I left school at 16 to start my apprenticeship as an electrical technician, I never envisaged that 14 years later I would have obtained a BEng degree.
