New FSRS Online Symposium Confirmed. Political Conversations, Island Futures with Hannah Mary Goodlad & Bjørt Samuelsen
This event will be a free-flowing, wide-ranging discussion between two well-known island politicians, covering a range of issues affecting islands today.
They will share their opinions on a number of issues and address questions like - What are their thoughts about the experience of being a female politician representing islanders? What is the value of administrative jurisdiction? What political lessons might Shetland learn from the Faroe Islands? What is the impact of the present geo-political situation on our islands? What are the challenges of sustainable energy, and how can our islands best benefit from it? What future collaboration could there be between Shetland and the Faroes? They will also address other topics that they would like to bring up and discuss.
