Students in the UK on a different visa or with EU settled/pre-settled status

For international applicants in one of the following circumstances:

• you are living in the UK on another type of visa
• or, you have EU settled or pre-settled status

Applicants in these circumstances have an existing legal residency status, therefore they do not ordinarily need to apply for the Student Route visa.

Other evidence of proficiency in English may be considered on an individual basis. Any evidence submitted for consideration must meet the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR) B2 level in all four components of listening, reading, speaking and writing.
