With 23 islands to explore, discover endless stunning beaches on the beautiful islands of Jura, Islay and Arran. Or try wreck diving- dive down to the seafloor and explore over 20 different shipwrecks around Dunoon.

Only 40 minutes from Glasgow, you can get the great wilderness of Scotland, with the warm Highland welcome of Argyll.

Perth

Once known as the capital of Scotland due to its favour with royalty, Perth is a bustling, compact and beautiful city with many restaurants, bars, shops and an award-winning concert hall and theatre. Perth sits at the gateway to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, containing breathtakingly stunning scenery and a rich cultural heritage.

Fantastic for seeing wildlife and thrilling outdoor activities, with hill-walking, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, white-water rafting, horse-riding, golf, fishing, canoeing and climbing, amongst other adventurous opportunities, are all on our doorstep.

Being only one hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow, Perth has been voted one of the best places in the country to live and is one of the friendliest and safest cities in the UK.

Highland Theological College

Choose from HTC’s bases of Dingwall, Perth or Paisley.

Base yourself at Dingwall in the Highlands, with Inverness just 15 minutes away. Dingwall or “Þingvöllr”, was once the Viking capital of Scotland. It is just a stone's throw from the Black Isle, which is known for culture and craft, seafood and wood-fired pizzas.

Or choose the Paisley campus, just outside of Glasgow, or Perth, where you will get the best of the Highlands while still being close to Edinburgh and Glasgow.

With 65,000 titles, our library is one of the most significant theological libraries in the country. We have several special collections including the Rutherford House library, the William Temple collection from the Rylands library and Migne’s Patrologia from the Fort Augustus Abbey library.
