Sam Tweedlie

Sam is a tutor for Argyll College UHI and is based in Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. He first started work with Argyll College in 2004. He is currently studying the Master of Education: Digital Pedagogy with UHI.

He delivers digital media and computing content for a range of programmes across different curriculum areas. He delivers content on Digital Design and Web Development, Business, Administration and IT, Computing, Skills for Work and Art and Design on Education for Life courses. His experience covers FE and HE content.  The majority of his content is delivered via blended learning.

Sam talks us through his approach to setting up a course in Brightspace including self migration of materials from his Blackboard course – making decisions on what to migrate and what to leave; setting up assessments; grade-book and finally how to make your course live.  He will describe how he has built his course in line with the LTA values as well as giving handy tips for making good announcements with video and pictures including where to find quality copyright free images.
