Session Outline

Open to all staff, this webinar aims to help you develop skills in reflective writing. Whether you have experience in writing diaries, journals, or other reflective pieces, or are quite new to writing and just want to find out more, the session will offer opportunities to explore different methods and discuss how they can be used.

This session will be hands-on, activity based and introductory. No previous experience is required.

The session will briefly outline the background to reflective writing: it’s relevance to education and how it can be useful for personal well-being and professional practice.  It will include two practical short writing activities, each followed by a discussion.  Finally we shall look at the possibilities to develop further opportunities for those participants who want to  develop their reflective writing, for instance through writing groups.
