Biography

Professor Morag Redford was appointed to the new post of Head of Teacher Education at the university in 2014. She has led the development of a suite of initial and continuing education programmes for primary and secondary education, working closely with local authority partners. Prior to this, she was Director of Professional Learning in the school of Education at the University of Stirling.

Current research

Rural Education Partnership in Scottish Education - Scottish schools’ attainment project.
Measuring quality in initial teacher education project.

Both of these are cross-university research projects.
