The exhibition opens with four artifacts, each different and each with their own unique story chosen by the students from their own possessions because they hold a special significance to them.

Lynn Campbell, the Programme Leader for Culture and Heritage said; “This online exhibition is breaking new ground for the Centre of Nordic Studies and the contributors have all worked hard to create something that we can add to in future years to create a wonderful collection of personal treasures.  It is hoped that in years to come the exhibition will grow as students undertaking the course will each add an artifact to the online collection creating a unique online experience that will showcase a wide range of items that hold personal significance to the contributors.”
