Dr Sarah Helps

Sarah completed her initial training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Hull in 1995. She qualified as a systemic psychotherapist in 2002 at the University of London. Over her career she has specialised in paedatric neuropsychology and in complex diagnostic assessment processes as well as providing systemic interventions to couples, families and organisations. 

She is currently professional lead for systemic psychotherapy at the Tavistock Clinic in North London, where she holds clinical, teaching and leadership roles. She has worked in the NHS and within private practice. She also works as an expert witness within the family courts. She is particularly interested in supporting the psychological well-being of people whose development and family life has taken a diverse path. 

Sarah now divides her time between the Cromarty on Black Isle and London. Sarah has three teenage sons.
