Picking your modules

All degree/PGT students should make their module choices online each year. The ‘Pick your Modules’ tool will open in UHI Records at the same time as online programme enrolment so you can complete both of these important tasks at the same time.

  • Log into UHI Records to complete your programme enrolment. You will then be directed to select the modules that you would like to study.
    • Once submitted your VLE registrations and assessment records will be created automatically in preparation for your studies in September.
    • Your PAT and Programme Leader will be able to review the choices you have made and notify you if there are any issues with these.
  • We will send information to your student email with guidance on all the preparations you are required to make before the start of the new academic year. It is important that you check your student email account regularly.
  • Requests for further information and any questions can be sent to SRO@uhi.ac.uk or by raising a Servicedesk call.

  • Your unconfirmed resit results are available as soon as your tutor enters them into the student records system.
  • These marks remain subject to change by the exam board.
    • Most exam boards meet in the last week of January (for Semester one modules), the first week in June (Semester two and year long modules) with a final board meeting at the end of August to consider resits, or study undertaken over the Summer period.
  • You will be able to view your confirmed module results online once they are approved following the exam board. This process will be completed as quickly as possible, with results being confirmed each day.
  • To view your results, click on Student Hub > Modules > Module Results

Resitting modules

If for any reason you have not passed one or more modules, you MUST contact your Personal Academic Tutor (PAT) or Programme Leader as soon as possible to discuss your reassessment requirements. Reassessments may include out-of-term deadlines. The university will not write to you individually with information about reassessment arrangements.  It is essential that you are clear about what you must do as early as possible, to help yourself to succeed.
