Route 3: Portfolio of Professional Practice for Associate Fellow, Fellow and Senior Fellow of the HEA

This recognition route allows colleagues with appropriate professional experience, and who may already hold a relevant teaching qualification, to produce an e-portfolio of evidence to be used as the basis for recognition as an Associate Fellow, Fellow, or Senior Fellow of the HEA. The nature and range of the evidence to be produced is determined by the category of Fellowship recognition that is being applied for.  All applicants must align their practice to the relevant dimensions of the Professional Standards Framework (PSF) for the category of Fellowship they seek.  Colleagues who are in teaching roles and have less than two years teaching experience, are recommended to pursue ALPINE route 1 or 2.

Registration

There are two ALPINE cohorts each academic year for route 3. The next cohort will begin in August/September 2024 and submit applications to an internal recognition panel in the following December/January.  There are a number of workshops in 2024 semester two that interested colleagues are encouraged to attend.  More information can be found on the LTA event webpages.
