The last UHI Research Conference was an interim online event spread over two days and was an opportunity for research staff and students to showcase a selection of the varied research happening across the university while we were not able to meet face to face. This conference will be a hybrid face to face / VC staff and student research conference, hosted from UHI Moray.
The programme will continue to be updated as speakers, etc. are confirmed, with abstracts and break-out session details revealed closer to the conference.
The deadline for registration is 5 p.m. on Friday 2nd December; registrations cannot be accepted after that date given the approach to the Christmas break. Use the registration button at the top of this page to access the Eventbright site to secure your booking.
Submit your presentation or poster idea for the conference
We are ready to receive your presentations and poster proposals; please complete and return the relevant form to email@example.com by Monday 14 November 2022.
Assistance to staff travelling to the conference from the islands (excluding Skye)
The Research office will:
- Cover the full cost of car/mini-bus hire and ferry tickets for those travelling by car or minibus with a minimum of 3 people in the case of a car or, say, 5-6+ in the case of a mini bus.
- Pay a contribution of up to £225 for each person travelling from Shetland under their own steam (including by air).
- Pay a contribution of up to £150 for each person travelling from an Island other than Shetland, under their own steam (including by air).
